RESPOND prides itself on facilitating collaborations between aid operations on the ground, thereby enhancing the impact humanitarian assistance has on the lives of displaced people.

FILOXENIA INTERNATIONAL

January 2017 – August 2017

RESPOND assisted with the refurbishment of 17 self-contained apartments for vulnerable refugee families and the construction of a social cafe and children’s safe space.

This project identified the most vulnerable refugees in a camp setting and provided them with dignity, safety and support in permanent housing. RESPOND also provided tools and training, enabling children’s bikes to be reconditioned.

THE WORLDWIDE TRIBE

December 2016 – January 2017

RESPOND assisted a refugee day centre, whereby refugees sought respite from camp conditions, by constructing storage units in the warehouse.

RESPOND also logistically coordinated the delivery of Christmas presents to refugee children.

TRUCKSHOP (FREEDOM OF CHOICE)

June 2017

We have worked alongside TruckShop in Thessaloniki.
